Meetings-on-a Cloud
This course brings together people from around the world! We use Zoom for our webinars and exercises. Meeting-on-a Cloud is easy, fun and free. Consult a world clock to figure out when you’ll meet according to your time zone. Just follow these three steps:
- Download Zoom.
- Set up your own personal room for private conversations with a buddy. One of you will need to send an invitation to your buddy to join you. You’ll meet with your buddy as you go through the course and in particular to do the exercise at the end of each lesson.

Find a Buddy: (soon-to-be published)
Look to the right which says, “Course Registrants to buddy with.” Here, you can find the list of people registered for this course, with email address beside each name. If you are looking for a buddy, simply, click on the button called “buddy up“. This will send an invitation to the other person through email. If available, that person should email to confirm the match, and both of you will be buddies for the course. No one else, can now buddy with both of you. However, if you do not confirm to buddy up, you are open for invitations by other registrants or you can go for someone else too. This is how it will work – let’s give it a try!
Webinars
It is my hope to create as interactive a course as possible, so we are creating as many avenues for interaction as possible, including encouraging taking the course in partnership, active participation in the discussion forum, and in six, bi-weekly webinars during the run of the course itself. If you’ve ever participated in ReauthoringTeaching’s Collab Salon, you know how fun a video webinar can be.

All Course Webinars take place on Sunday, 5pm New York time. We have scheduled a webinar for each lesson associated with this course. Each webinar will last about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and will follow the sequence of the course. Please don’t worry if you cannot make a live webinar. We will record and post all webinars for registrants to review, and then join the conversation. The following dates/times are posted in New York time zone.
